My name is Louis Manning. I'm a games developer with a background based in console, mobile, PC and board games, as well as doing industrial design and mobile applications when an especially interesting project appears. I'm currently based in Chile, South America and have been for some time now, and I'm a fluent Spanish speaker.
I've been making games professionally for over a decade, both commercially and freelance. I've worked alone, remotely, and on site with teams of up to 40 (not counting external artists, testers and publishing) people on a wide variety of game types.
The best way to stay relevant in games development is to learn new methodologies and skills. To that end, I have a broad skillset in coding, scripting 3d art, 2d texturing, interface design, sound fx and music, level design, business development, project planning and people management. I've also given talks on creativity and games development and occasionally do consultancy work for local companies.
Below are the projects I've worked on, or will work on in the future. Click on an image for more information.
