Foreshadow

Peaceful villages, smoke from chimneys no NPC interaction
Story; trapped in this dimension, seeking elder altar to locate a slip gate and find a way across dimensions.

Chantry

Some ogres, then break open tomb and axe undead hordes. weapons from ogres? The Undead you released attack nearby village. Introduce Flayn zombie - freshly zombiefied villagers. Steal goat and sacrifice it, but things go pear shaped, summoning Unnamed greater demon. Then reality begins to crumble and must escape, back to foreshadow level.
Story - fucking oops. Must escape the demon.

Bosk

is a piece of foreshadow at start but really way into the deep woods. Dark, overhanging canopy blots out the light. The Unnamed makes a distinctive scream at start of level and summons a lightning strike which tears the dimension a new one, opening a rift from which out come Fiends and Vores. Rifted areas are runic with lava. The demon then retreats (was up on a ledge) but it's tracking the player and keeps on screaming in the distance and opening new rifts. Player follows a mostly lineal path through the woods and riffed areas, fighting Ogres with some demonic creatures thrown into the mix. Player comes across some ruins (not runic) which seem dedicated to some elder god. Has to fight the Unnamed as boss at end of level, but normal weapons do nothing. Some of the elder ruins nearby feature a button and two electrodes that produce a lightning bolt - luring the Unnamed into this is the only way to injure it, but when injured it just retreats to a riffed area which has a copper telepad, unusable to the player and vanishes. The player finally gets to step into the sunlight as the woods end, and see stone structures up ahead.
Story - demon can be hurt, but still need way to permanently destroy it and escape this dimension which is now going tits up.

Towen

place has been hit by the zombie plague the player unleashed, doors are marked X and piles of corpses everywhere. Lots of Zombies and Flayn. Flesh Golem shambler class monster is introduced. It's like a pile of walking zombies vomiting gibs. Creates multiple zombies when killed. Possibly also a new Spinesnake monster. Demon still pursues player as they navigate the town, three times creates an arena from a distance by blasting the area with lightning and making a dimensional rift, from which arrive Fiends and Vores. The first arena rift leaks lava, setting fire to the town - fire is a hazard for the remainder of the level. Black fog steadily increases. Player finally escapes into sewers as the zombie town burns. The fire forces them into a flowing sewage pipe. Note that fire is a new thing; trap_fire which has a model, can be triggered and propogates between touching trap_fires.

Silica

sewers become intertwining cave network. At the start the demon is hot on the players heels, chasing them down a tunnel and impervious to damage, until they pass through a runic barrier. The Xorb enemy is introduced, summoned by the Unnamed because it can pass through physical matter and around runic barriers. Enemies in the caves / sewers are these and ogres with some regular demons - no fodder enemies. Bottomless pits and flowing water are the hazards here. Player finds some elder ruins linked to the barriers, but not the same texture style as the riffed areas. Player must navigate between safe spots through the caves, avoiding the Xorb while ogres merrily steam in despite the barriers, which do not block them.

Precipice

player exits onto a mountain ledge with sewer outflows pouring down the sides. Rickety wooden structures crawl up the sides of it and it seems the demon will not be able to follow. The player must navigate up the mountain path fending off Ogres and Scrags. Upon reaching one area lightning flashes, creating a large riffed area (internal) which the player must now navigate. It's full of demons, including the first sight of a Shambler. The demon attacks at the end of this area and the player must retreat back to the mountainside. The player makes their way up another wooden pathway and the same happens again - another large rifted area popping into existence. This time the player is bombarded by Vores and has to get to the rift to kill them. Inside, they find the LG. The demon attacks and for the first time the player can hurt it directly. It still manages to escape however, the place being littered with copper telepads. The player continues their way up the mountain, spying a temple up ahead, over a rope bridge. The temple is textured the same as the ruins from before.
Story - ok we can hurt the thing with lightning and this temple looks like it holds the same arcane tech as before. Time to kill it.

Tabernacle

player is in the temple, textured like the ruins they've been seeing everywhere. Here they are fighting off Shambler ambushes and the demon continually, trying to find a set of three keys to open the heart of the temple. The demon will I fight with Shamblers, which are capable of hurting it. The demon cannot create rifts here, but there are no shortage of demons and ogres, coming from outside the mountain temple. Once the temple heart is unlocked, the big fight with the demon occurs. This involves using the LG, runic barriers and electrodes to fight it. This involves activating a electrical trap, then luring the demon into a barrier so it gets thrown back into the electricity. This must be done multiple times, on multiple levels of the temple, rising up on a massive lift each time - outside of it on each floor are the trap mechanisms. Eventually the demon tries to regenerate itself on a crescent moon platform at the top of the temple, open to the sky - only to destroy itself with multiple lightning strikes, splattering blood and gibs everywhere. The centre of the lift is revealed to be a smaller lift, which the player can take up, finding a portal out of the dimension.
Story - dimension escaped, demon vanquished, undead horde hopefully eradicated. Well done, now go to the next dimension and screw that one over as well :D
